Kyoto Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Kyoto PvP Network store at store.kyotopvp.com (the "Store") and any digital items, ranks, keys, cosmetics, subscriptions or other products you purchase through it (collectively, the "Products"). The Store is operated by the Kyoto PvP Network ("Kyoto", "we", "us" or "our"). By using the Store or making a purchase, you agree to these Terms.

These Terms are specific to the Kyoto PvP Network and apply in addition to the Terms & Conditions of our reseller, Tebex, which act as the merchant of record and govern the payment and sale of Products. Where the two differ in respect of the payment transaction itself, Tebex's terms prevail.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to make a purchase. If you are under 18, you must have the permission of the bill payer (a parent or legal guardian) before making any purchase, and you confirm that you have obtained that permission. You are responsible for ensuring that all information you provide, including your in-game username, is accurate.

2. Your account and the server

Products are delivered to the Minecraft account whose username you provide at checkout. You are responsible for entering the correct username and for keeping your game and store accounts secure. Access to in-game perks also requires that you comply with our in-game rules and conduct policies; serious or repeated rule breaches may result in suspension or removal of your access without a refund.

3. Purchases and payment

All prices are shown on the Store and may be displayed in your selected currency. Payments are processed securely by our payment provider, Tebex. We do not receive or store your full card or banking details. By completing a purchase you authorise the charge for the Product selected, plus any applicable taxes or fees shown at checkout.

4. Delivery of digital goods

Products are digital and are normally delivered automatically to the account you specify shortly after a successful payment. Delivery timing and what to do if an item does not arrive are described in our Delivery & Refunds policy, which forms part of these Terms.

5. Refunds and chargebacks

Because Products are digital and delivered to your account, all sales are final once delivered, except where a refund is required by applicable law. Full details are set out in our Delivery & Refunds policy. If you believe you have been charged in error or have not received an item, contact us first at support@kyotopvp.com so we can help. Initiating a chargeback or payment dispute without contacting us may result in the permanent removal of your purchases and a ban from the network.

6. Licence and virtual items

Products do not constitute ownership of any goods. They grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable and revocable licence to access certain features, perks or virtual items on the Kyoto network for as long as we offer them. Virtual items have no real-world monetary value, cannot be exchanged for cash, and may be modified, replaced or discontinued as the network evolves.

7. Subscriptions and renewals

Some Products are sold as recurring subscriptions. Where this is the case, it is made clear at checkout, and the subscription will automatically renew at the stated interval until you cancel it. You can cancel a subscription at any time to stop future renewals; cancellation stops further charges but does not refund amounts already paid for the current period unless required by law.

8. Availability and changes

We may add, change, suspend or remove Products, perks, prices and server features at any time. We aim to keep the Store and the network available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access, and we are not liable for downtime, data loss or changes to virtual items.

9. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The Store and Products are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we exclude all warranties not expressly stated and limit our total liability arising from your use of the Store or any Product to the amount you paid for the Product giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that cannot be limited by law, including your statutory consumer rights.

10. Not affiliated with Mojang or Microsoft

Kyoto PvP Network is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or associated with Mojang AB or Microsoft. "Minecraft" is a trademark of Mojang AB.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes take effect when posted on this page, and the "Last updated" date will be revised. Your continued use of the Store after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

12. Governing law

These Terms, and any dispute arising from them or from your use of the Store, are governed by the applicable laws of the operator's place of business, without affecting any mandatory consumer protections available to you in your country of residence.
